Biography

Guy van Grinsven (1949–2021), Limburg’s most famous photographer, shot more than a million photographs in his 40-year career. While in his early years he focused on reporting on sporting events, socialite events, and royal state visits, he always found the opportunity to travel to the four corners of the world. After becoming the only Dutch photographer/cameraman to witness the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001, his style shifted to more studio and portrait photography.
Guy was a photographer who captured the world around him with his own unique, eccentric, and daring style.
